I love the morning light. So as I'm heading out the door, I usually grab a camera for my walk. Today, I had the Olympus PEN E-PM1with the 17mm f/2.8 prime lens. I love this combination because it is very compact, yet produces great results.
I'll have the PEN Mini with me on my trip to Photo Plus Expo this week. If you see me there, please say hi!

So are you liking it better than your S90? I've been considering the EPL3 because of the tilt LCD but the EP3 is oh so sweet. To me at least it's one of the best cameras I've ever held, so I think I'm going to have to be nimble with a bit larger and heavier camera and use my on order iPhone 4S as my always with me camera.

It's interesting Ed. For me, the PEN Mini fits between the other cameras, not instead of them. There are still situations where I'd grab the Canon S90 or Olympus XZ-1 over the Mini, mainly because of their compactness with a zoom lens.
But I like the Mini when I'm feeling more creative. I shoot mainly with the 17mm f/2.8, that translates to 34mm in full frame terms. That set-up is still very compact, fast, and creative. The image quality is great.
So I'm hesitant to say choose this camera over another, because for me, it has its own niche.
Hope you're doing well!
I love my Panasonic Lumix LX-5
Dick,
I too love my LX-5. It's become my go-to camera; it's light and feels good in my hand. The other day I searched my Aperture library for all my 3 star and above images, taken with it for 2011. It came in a tad less than 52%, with my G1 at about 48%. In the noise was my 60D.
WHile the LX-5 is definitely not a pocket camera it;s light enough that I don't mind wearing it around my neck all day while hiking, traveling, out with family or friends, etc. I use my G1 and various lenses when photography is more or less the prime reason for my outing.
But, re the LX-5 I miss the interchangeable lens, even if I was to carry just one with me for any given occasion. So that's why I'm going to get an EP-3. It's still relatively light weight and feels sooooo good in my hand.
